 THE ONEONTA RED COMES BACK TO TIE THE SCORE AT HALF TIME AGAINST CORTLAND AT THE ALUMNI FIELDHOUSE.

On Tuesday , February 9 , 2016 , Suny Oneonta hosted their annual battle of the Red Dragons versus Suny Cortland. Oneonta trailed by 6 and they were able to tie things up by half time. Suny Oneonta fell to Cortland 64-56. Senior Mickey McElroy led Oneonta with 20 points on 9-of-18 shooting . His teemate Jason added 12 points . Still that wasn't enough.

Genique released her frustration of Oneonta losing to courtland after the game . "it was cool but I'm dumb tight ", she stated.

Wensnell who is a senior at Oneonta, gave an enlightening statement as he tried to alliviate some of his friends out of their frustration . "Offense wins games but defense wins championships", which is true because that was what The Oneonta dragons lacked that caused them to lose the game.

In addition , I spoke to leading scorer for Oneonta who asked to be called Mickey. He led the team in scoring against Cortland with 20 points, he claimed that it was a pretty good game , they just got beaten on the glass.
