On February 9th in Alumni Field house, Suny Oneonta Red Dragons took on the Suny Cortland Red Dragons. The Women Oneonta Red Dragons won their game with a final score of 63-55. Unfortunately on the other hand, the Oneonta mens team lost with a close score of 56-64.

At 5:30pm, the Oneonta Ladies showed the large crowd how to get the job done. With the stands full, and with the Cortland Dragons close behind, they worked hard and took the win.

The crowd stayed big and wild.  At 7:30pm, the Mens Oneonta Red Dragons had their turn to show everyone who the real Red Dragons are.

Before the game started, I spoke with Oneonta fan Sage Cheren and asked him what he thought the outcome of the game would be.  "This is battle of the Red Dragons tonight, Ostate vs Cortland, and I think that Oneonta is going to win.. Why? Because I go here!"

While the crowd was getting even more wild during half time, I spoke with sophomore baseball player Sam Beaulac. "This is a close game, its 21-24 at half. This is actually ridiculous!"

After realizing that many fans looked worried at this point in the game, I wanted to hear what other people had to say about the situation! Half way into the second half, I talked with Oneonta student Amber Robinson. "Its a really big game because its Battle of the Red Dragons, so we got here early to see the tip off and the national anthem. The games going really well, but were actually losing right now, but I think it will pick up!"

Unfortunately after going back and fourth on the score board, the Oneonta Red Dragons did not pick up their game, and lost with a score of 56-64. I guess theres always next time!

Until next time everyone. Stay tuned!
