On Tuesday February 9th, 2016 as 7:30PM rolled around fans, players, and loved ones watched as Oneonta and Cortland's men's basketball team began once again an ongoing rivalry for the history books.

Sitting in the middle of the Oneonta stands you can hear the crowd roaring in excitement for the night to come. Hopes were held high as the battle ensued on and as halftime reached the score made emotions on the edge for what was to come for the second half of the game.

Below is my halftime report for the game.

As shown in this video, the score of the game at halftime was a nail biting score of 25 O-State and 20 Cortland.

However, as everyone was holding their breath for the second half to start, fans from both Oneonta and Cortland enjoyed the three halftime performances occurring. The first performance by the Oneonta Dance Team involved the use of the entire floor to wow the audience. Other performances of the night included that from the Oneonta State Kickline team as well as the Oneonta State Cheerleaders. After the halftime showed ended the game resumed and the fans were back on their feet cheering for the team of their choice.
At the end of the night, the game ended with Oneonta losing on their own turf. The final score was 64-56. Although this was a loss for Oneonta, the rivalry between the two SUNY Red Dragons will tred on in history.

Below is what senior, Kerry Adams of the Oneonta State Kickline had to say of her performance as well as Oneonta's players.
