A Rock To Cure and Benefit Show-Taylor DeMarco Foundation

The stage minutes before performers went on

COLETTE PASSAFIUME-SUNY Oneonta
Oneonta, NY

On Tuesday February 16th, 2016 while some were in the library, others were rocking out to some good music all while promoting an even better cause. On this date in the Hunt Union Ballroom, The Music Industry Club teamed up with Rock to Cure to give people the ability to make a difference in the fight for childhood cancer all while listening to some rocking bands and acts. The bands performing for the night were WATERMEDOWN, Pitch Slapped, Chase Huglin and Nobody's Babe.
All performances were exhilarating to watch as each and every artist put their heart and soul into their act. Chase Huglin, in particular, traveled all the way from Boston the night his performance at SUNY Oneonta to support this amazing cause and wow the crowd.

Below is what a member of Pitch Slapped had to say about her group as well as her thoughts on the Music Industry Club.

The first act on stage performing

This was the first act performing to rally up the crowd and engage the audience. The drums and guitar made a rhythm and tempo that caught everyones attention near. The performances to come for the night did the same for the audience and kept them engaged.

Below is a short clip of myself describing what was to come for the night.

The President of the Music Industry Club also felt filled with joy about what was to come for the night. Listen below for his viewpoints of the night!

Crowds roll in the the Hunt Union Ballroom to watch performances

At the end of the night the Music Industry Club raised $2 for every person who attended. With those numbers I'm sure the Taylor Demarco Foundation raised enough money to make a difference in a life of a child who is in need, which, at the end of the day was what the night was all about!
