Oneonta Falls in the Fourth
No 5. Lawrence Coleman about to go to the basket for a layup
By Zach Vaccaro--( ONEONTA, NY)
It was a cold one on SUNY Oneontas Campus Tuesday night. However, at Dewar Arena, things heated up as SUNY Oneonta took on the other red dragons of Cortland. SUNY Oneonta (13-8) fell 56-64 to SUNY Cortland (15-6).
Brianne Lambert, former Hartwick college student, thought "Oneonta played just as well" as last years match up she attended. But it wasn't enough to defeat the Red Dragons of Cortland.

Oneonta was getting the ball around the court successfully in the first period but just could not seem to make it to the basket as much as they would have liked. "When they did they were not executing" said Lambert. The second half Cortland managed to pull ahead. The last few minutes of the game was back to back possessions where Cortland got on top.

SUNY Oneonta takes on Brockport at home on Friday and Cortland takes on SUNY Plattsburgh. With close rankings in the division, we may see another Battle of the Red Dragons later in the season.
