This mural was drawn outside on the walls of the gallery at the front entrance. Christine Heller from Murphy Hill, Cooperstown, New York drew this mural to represent refugees that are viewd as just shawdows. She wanted to put faces to the shadows to show that these people are real and have suffered much pain and loss.

This is a display of the angles and visual artwork that was set up in the gallery.

This piece was entitled "Sondra's Flying Fish" it is a painting done by Chelsea Gibson and it describes what it is like to be in a room with another person and the relationship between a person and their home.

Caroline Stoerger works as a gallery assistant at the Fine Arts Center. Here she explains her job and what the "Independent Spirit" exhibition was about.
