The Fine Arts building On the Suny Oneonta Campus is hosting an event at the Martin-Mullen Art Gallery called Independent Spirit that has many art pieces coming from twenty-four artists. Charles Bremer goals of this exhibition are to show a diversity of styles and approaches to making art. Also to exhibit work in a wide range of size and scale for many people see.

With all the painting in the Catalogue the painters give the viewers a brief description about the painting.  Eddie Ferral a student on the Suny Oneonta campus was such in shock how their were very good talented artist that are local from Oneonta. "Wow I wish I had some nice talent, this painting by Lisbeth looks like my mom when she is shopping in the city"

This Gallery is open for everyone. Andre Ferral the brother of Eddie Ferral  says that the gallery is so shocking because the paintings have so much meaning in them soon as you look into the painting for a long time.


Many people must attend the Independence Spirit. Have until March 18th, 2016 . This is an event that will have you amazed on what type of talent  many local artists have.
