Oneonta Hots is the Spot in Oneonta

Oneonta Hots is a local business located in the heart of Oneonta on Main Street. It is known for it's famous hot plates and my favorite the "Oney Burger". The business opened in September 2012 and is located on 281 Main Street right next to another well known local business Sal's. Although one may think it would be bad for ` Hots to open as the new kid on the block next to a business who is already established, Oneonta Hots still thrives. With the variety of different meals you can order along with the great customer service provided. The boss Shane Kuhnen runs this business well, and makes sure that all customers’ leave satisfied. He even comes out from behind the kitchen to talk with faithful customers who come in often and have even become friends.
Melissa Abate a junior at SUNY Oneonta has worked at hots for over a year now and she has nothing but positive reviews about working at Oneonta Hots. Another employee Jaime Bragg also a junior has worked at Hots since September 2015 but also only has positive things to say about her job and the experience.




Melissa found out about hots through a friend that already worked there, her friend told her that it was a great place to work and that they were hiring. She applied the next day and got hired quickly since then she says "I love working here they make it a fun place to want to work at". She also said it is not like any ordinary job, most people feel stressed or dread going to work but she describes her job a lot differently, "It is a laid back kind of job the boss isn't down our backs stressing us, he makes sure we get our job done but also makes sure we are having fun and aren't stressed". With so many college students that go out at night on the weekends most food places are packed with drunken students so I asked how the nightlife was in Oneonta Hots. She responded "It is hectic at night especially during the weekends, with so many people that come in some being drunk it can get a little stressful but with the people I work with they make it easy for me to get through". As a customer I love how they have a variety of different things to choose from, most people like myself get tired of eating the same thing after a while. Oneonta hots is great because you can't get tired of one thing because they have so much to offer, from the burgers, hot plates, sandwiches, wraps, subs, salads, sides etc. you can't go wrong at hots.
