(Oneonta- NY) One of Oneonta's finest eatery's is none other than Latte Lounge. Latte Lounge has been a crowd favorite since it opened its doors in 2000. Owners David and Georgia have been in the food industry for many years, and it wasn't until David saw an opportunity in an existing coffee shop to then transform it into what it is now. 

He knew that he needed someone that was top notch and passionate about the food industry the way that he is to run this business to success. 

David found that person in Georgia, who has worked in every aspect of the food service business for over thirty years, all over the country. Cook, baker, server, owner.. Georgia makes sure to bring it all to Latte Lounge every day. 

You will be able to spot David by his trademark of wearing shorts year round, although the weather in Oneonta is not suited for it.. and his incredibly friendly personality to make sure that his customers are having a great experience. Georgia wears glassses and is extremely witty and friendly, also ensuring that their customers are more than satisfied and return again. 

When the pair isn't in Latte Lounge, they attend food shows to get new ideas on how to improve their business. Latte Lounge is known for their incredible egg sandwiches which is a favorite on the weekends, but also offer amazing sandwiches, coffees with a ton of flavors to add, bagels, salads, as well as amazing chocolates and truffles from Moonstruck Chocolatiers. 

Local student Leslie Brownell said,  "I love coming here for the environment. Especially the brick walls, it makes me feel like I am in a Harry Potter movie."

Another local student, Christina Ellul said, "I love the turkey and cheddar sandwich here, especially the bagel chips." 

Latte Lounge has and always been a favorite to the students of SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick. The friendly atmosphere and workers make it the place to go when you're craving that daily snack. Latte Lounge is open from Monday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you ever find yourself in the area, Latte Lounge is a must to experience.
