(Oneonta, NewYork)-- Jason Hernandez is a member of both the club and intramural soccer team here on the SUNY Oneonta Campus. Jason transferred to Oneonta fall semester of 2016 from Nassau Community College. As a junior, managing both school work and soccer can be a full time job. Despite his demanding workload this semester Jason always seems to find time for soccer. Despite his love for soccer Jason knows that his school work always takes priority.

"... if i have spare time I'll go juggle the ball or pass the ball with some friends, but school will always come first and then soccer."

" Practices with the guys has been really fun, soccer brings people together. I just started playing and we just all became friends."

Jason's internal team is currently in third place on campus, he hopes that by the end of the season they will earn that first place spot.  has plans to join the campus team and has set up a five week trial period with the coach. During these five weeks Jason will practice with the team and show that he has what it takes to wear the team jersey. Jason hopes that at the end of the five weeks the coach will make him an official team member. Until then Jason is using both the club and intramural team as a way for him to keep him and his skills in shape.
