Resident Adviser Trent Delsignore

Trent Delsignore is a Sophomore at SUNY Oneonta who is majoring in Music Industry. As a Resident Adviser, it is Trent's duty to complete daily, weekly, and monthly duties that affect themselves and the residents of their respective dorm hall. As many new students, including transfers, begin school in SUNY Oneonta, they will choose to live on campus in one of the dorms. These students are assisted by the help of staff and the RA's of their respective hall. As an RA of Hays Hall, RA Delsignore has been busy helping his residents and creating a strong community.

"Being an RA, a Resident Advisor, is all about creating a community within our building."

"...it's mainly about creating a community through programs, socials, and other intentional interactions."

Another RA in Hays Hall is RA Fraser Trujillo who has known RA Delsignore for some time. RA Fraser and RA Delsignore both attest to the fact that building a community and creating frendships is the best part of their job. RA Trujillo believes that RA Delsignore is a helpful part of the Hays Hall team.

"I think Trent does a great job. He really knows how to build a community, especially within his hall."

Of the benefits that resident advisers receive, Trent sees the friendships that he makes as the most important. Melissa, a resident of Hays Hall says that, "the RA's have made efforts and have given good advice to me during this semester." RA Delsignore also believes that being an RA is a great opportunity for any Sophomore and up students because of the possibilities it can lead them to. The opportunity can lead to creating connections, both in school and beyond. RA Delsignore plans on finishing this semester as a Resident Adviser and may continue on to be an RA next semester.
